a handled surprise

Organi-zation Blues

Well I guess we are back up and running. Jen has been done with a little bug but she appears to be up and running again. So here is a little organization tip we whipped up from InkingIdaho's blog. It is an organizer box. It can house cards or maybe addresses of frequently visited blogs. Whatever tickles your fancy. Now take a look. Then give us a holler if you like it.

Round and round we go

Recently I decided to try the Circle Scissor Plus from EkSuccess. Stampinup has one in their new catty that is exclusive to them. However, I decided to use my Hobby Lobby coupon and buy a pink one. I love it. Here is a layout using my new gadget that I had to have(LOL) This tool can cut circles as thin as 1/4 inch. It cuts up to a 6 inch circle and it also allows you to draw the circle with a pen or pencil. I really like it.

Here is another project from Lauren's Timeless Templates that called the Takealong tote. It has pockets on each side of the tote that can house cards or whatever you like. You can store items on the inside as well. It was so simple to make and she gives great instructions.

Getting Organized

Hi Fellow bloggers:
I've been sort of slack in posting lately but here is a project I did using one of Lauren Meader's Timeless Templates. She is so talented and I love her creations. I used this box to organize my cards that I create. I used some of my StampinUp cardstock and I think the project came out lovely. Lauren has a video on her blog that shows you how to put this together.

Capadia-style

The old saying holds true, "Great minds think a like". Jen and I were thinking about Capadia's notecardbox. As I was thinking I should ask her to do a .cutfile, she was doing a .cutfile. Well it all turned out well. Capadia's design is fabulous and Jen made it easy to put together with no figuring. Look!

Without the expertise of JenC, I had to create a box the hard way. But it turned out cute anyway. This is a project from Dawn's Stamping Thoughts blog. She is an awesome crafter. I like to visit her blog because she always has a lot of inspiration. So here is the box: Why don't you stop by her blog and check it iut.
