And then there's the layouts

Scrapbooking is my second love. So here is a layout I did recently. I got the title from a magazine article from a Country Living magazine. I used my Cricut Design Studio to create the title and then I cut it out using my cricut.(Love my Cricut)

Some jewelry craftin

I also like to create jewelry. This is a sample of a Build-a-brad (Stampinup) bracelet that I create using some ideas from the
splitcoast stampers site. Take a look:

Here are some more pics of the project:

Peek inside

This is the front of the album decorated with designer papers and a self-made chipboard flower.  I also got that idea from another blogger.  Using my "Big Shot", I die-cut a flower die that was covered in designer paper.  In the center of the flower is a great big jewel that I received in a Rak.  The photo corners were made using a punch.  The designer papers are Stampinup of course!  Now to the inside of this cute project:                                       To the left of the inside cover is a cute giftcard holder.  I didn't put a giftcard but just a little notecard.  The next panel has a picture of my daughter at the poolside and the the shots that follow show different poses of her in the pool.  The last panel to the right has a place for journaling.  With the directions given, these are so easy to make.  Would you like to make one?  Let me know.

What have I been doing?

Hey there yall from sunny South Carolina.  The weather here is sunny yet rainy with all the storms brewing this way.  Lots and lots or rain.  But I still managed to do a few projects and send them your way.  This first one is soooooooo cute.  It is an empty clear  CD case.  I turned it into a mini accordion album using the directions from one of the gal's blogs.  Her name is Dawn Olchefske and her blog is http://dostamping.typepad.com.  So without further delay, here is the project:
