Bridal Shower With the Cricut

For a recent bridal shower, me and a few of my crafty girls got together and created some decor for the party. We made some floral centerpieces using the Flower Shoppe cart and I made a banner using the Storybook cart. I also used that same cart to create a cardbox, I used two unused show boxes and some patterned paper and some other embellies. Another crafty friend made the cake which was great. The sign-in board was decorated with more paper flowers. It was a dry-erase board so everyone signing in had their permanent signature for the couple to cherish. Here are a few pics.

All Boxed Up!

Ever seen a boxed card? No, not a box of cards, but a boxcard. These unique creations can be found on blogs and YouTube. I used lightweight chipboard and mini cabbage roses. The butterflies are the Martha Stewart punch. The butterfly inside is a Sissix die. To add more detail I added some beaded trim.

Wallpaper Upcycle/recycle

While perusing my town one day, I came across some discarded wallpaper books that were thrown alongside a street curve. At first glance, my interest was peaked but I passed them by. A few days later I noticed they were still there, so guess what? I picked them up and added them to my collection of crafty chaos. After much effort and hard work as well as some surfing the web, I got two of the books apart so that I could use most of the material. I cut some flowers with my Cricut and here is the result:
