Crafting Therapy

Many of my friends wonder where I get the time to craft so many projects. Well, a wise proverb says there is a time for everything. And if you can't find the time, then time will find you idle. In short, I make time to craft. I love to sit in my craft space surfing blogs and getting inspired by others. So now that being said, here are a few of my latest creations inspired by the creativity of other crafty people. First, is a little gifty thing that is so cute. It takes just a small piece of paper and some stamping.Right next to it is a project I tried today. It uses acetate and a 3x3 peice of paper but oooh the possibilities. Up next is a nifty project from the Paper Pleasing Ideas blog. Julie B. is the creator of this. Inside are two boxes that can hold just about anything, from small paperback books, cards and envies, small treats and the list goes on. It resembles a purse. Check out her site. I have her on my roll list. Then next in line is card I di using a rubber stamped tree with limbs. I puched the tiny leaves out and adhered them to the tree. I also stamped a bird and used a pop dot to place him below the tree. Now the apple of my eye is my new grandbaby. Here are two layouts I did of her. And finally it all boils down to the paper, you can't do anything without the paper. I went to Joanns and saw this really pretty paper by DCWV. It was on sale last week. I got the 8x8 and the matching 4.5x6.5. The designs are: Latte, Citrus and LaCreme. They are absolutely gorgeous.I also visited a new scrapbook store in Georgia called The Scrap Shack. There are on the web, so take a look. I picked up a Nesty Label One die there and some 12x12 chipboard that was reasonably priced. So now wanna know where I find the time to craft, then come back and visit my blog again.
