Tri Shutter Card

Look at this neat idea I stumbled upon.  It is called a TRI shutter card and it's so easy and quick to make.  I saw some samples on the Sistas Challenge blog and clicked on a link to the tutorial for this card.  Try one.  You'll love it.  The link is : Craftiblog

Wedding Bells

A few pics from a wedding I attended last month.  The couple were young but had a good foundation from both sides of the family.  Congrats Micah and Ashley!!!!

Wanna sit a spell?  This is one little spot in my "garden of weed-in"  Looks like a jungle out there doesn't it?  Guess what?  It is.  I lke to sit out there when the mosquitos forget that summer has arrived and that's not too often.  Are they terrible.  Only in the South right?  Then I realize, "I've got crafting to do"  So I mosey on inside into my half dream room, half dump that I have made work for me.  Just me. I don't actually have a studio or a office.  And I don't want one.  I want a room that lets me create whatever I want and I can keep it just the way I want.(ie messy).  For my room has many functions and handles many jobs.  It a creation room and I like that.  So into my room I go.

Some cards and another box

While surfing the blogs I of course got inspired by some crafty ladies.  I probably should have wrote the blogs down but I didn't but their projects were awesome none the same.  I made a few cards and a box that is called a six-pack box.

Cute as a BUG

That's what my five month old granddaughter is.  Who would think I'd ever be a granny and loving every minute of it.  All my layouts now are about her.  Never would have thought it.  Take a look. I used bits of scraps CS(like all scrapbookers and cardmakers have) and some StampinUp stamp sets. For the title I used the Tear Drop Cricut Cart.  The cute little bug is also cut using the cricut.  The cart I used was Home Decor.  The notebook cut is an .svg file. TFL

Filing with Flair

I yet again resorted to using one of Lauren Meader's great templates.  This one is called File it with Flair.  I needed something to hold scrap pieces of copy paper that are left over after I make copies of different design ideas so wa-la, Lauren's Timeless Template to the rescue.  It only took me about half an hour or so with a little dressing it up.  So enjoy!

Here's a cutie of a card I made tonight.  The card itself is a.svg file from Papers, Scissors, Ink.  The flowers I punched using my flower punches.
