Timeless Treasure

I am an avid Timeless Template person.  I love Lauren's projects.  I used the Captured Card Case to create a gift box filled with matching cards.  She has some awesome ladies on her new design team.  Check it out.

Happy Scrap Day

As you crafters all know today is National Scrapbooking Day.  So what are you scrapping today.  I sent out a challenge to my scrap buddies to get scrapping on something today.  This is the challenge:  1 card with the following:  1) a butterfly  2) a flower.  1 layout using a baby theme  and the following: 1) two baby photos    2) two flowers   3) the word "SWEET"   4) a scallop   5) a heart.  They can choose whatever color they want.  The challenge is due by midnight tonight.  Let's see you'll meet the challenge.  Here are my creations(if you are going to issue a challenge you have to participate yourself, right?)

New Project Up

I did this cute stationary holder from Becky's blog  Inking Idaho. She's a super crafty lady.  I changed the inside of mine just a bit by adding a holder for the notepad.  Take a look.

Lauren's Timeless Template challenge

Lauren is sending out a challenge for anyone to use one of her Timeless Templates and design  a gift set using a Bath and Body Works product as the inspiration piece.  The challenge is to use that inspiration and create your own unique packaging for a gift.  Mine uses the Desktop Organizer and a gift set of four perfumed oils from Bath and Body Works.  I also used PTInk's clear cardstock as a cover and I stamped flowers on it using Stazon Jet Black ink.  The pattern paper is from a glitter stack I got at HL. I made an accordion flower and a gift tag using a Big Shot Die.  Check out the other entries on Lauren's blog.

Over at JulieBuhler's blog, she did a tu-tor for a cute mini purse.  It opens in the front and you can put a little note there as well as a small notecard or candy inside.

Another cute idea came from Kelly Lunceford's blog: It a a matchbox that can be decorated with a cute accordion flower that she also shows how to do.  So even though I have been blog hopping as it seems, I still feel like I'm in a creative fog of sorts.  Until tomorrow.

Blogger's Block?

What is Blogger's block?  I just penned that term to describe the fog that I'm in right now.  What is a blogger to do?  Who can help me out of this slump?  Anyone want to extend a hand?  Well I managed this morning to pull off one project.  While blog jumping, I came upon Roxy's blog:stampingwithroxy and she then referred everyone who stopped by to Heather Scott's blog.  The project is a double-pocket bag made from one 12-inch sheet of DP.  It is really cute.  The tut-tor is on Heather's blog as well as Roxy's.  Check it out:
